We are associated but independent aboriginal law practitioners working together on Aboriginal legal matters. Our law practice is with First Nations and Métis organizations with a focus on negotiations, economic development, governance, and corporate commercial law.

Collectively we have expertise in all aspects of treaty negotiations (Self-governance, Lands & Resources, and Fiscal Relations), the negotiation of Economic Benefit Agreements, First Nations corporate/commercial matters, Conflict Management, Natural Resource Law, Constitutional Law, and Economic Development.
We also have experience in various matters dealing with the Indian Act, including the development of Custom Election Codes, Membership Codes and First Nations Constitutions. Together, we have been practicing law for over 60 years, with a strong focus on Aboriginal law and First Nations support.

Publications & Awards

Mark L. Stevenson has published a number of high-profile, academic articles in Canadian publications and journals, including many articles online pertaining to Aboriginal law, and treaty negotiation. Most recently, Mark was designated an Indspire Award Laureate for Law and Justice (2016).
